"See A Whistle Machined"

Hey folks,
Just thought you'd like to see one of the shops CNC Machining Centers in action.
Here I am milling my "Pea Whistles".
The coolant is turned off, and the cycle was previously run.
The video is more to show off the machine than seeing chips fly.
Yeah, I'm only running one pallet.
I got word late yesterday afternoon that my next job in this Machining Center would be held up until Monday.
So I took the opportunity, and asked if I could use it today through the weekend to get started on the Whistles.
This is just the first two operations of the six needed to make a complete Whistle.
Enjoy,

Thanks Gary,
I usually do make all my items by gnawing the raw stock with my teeth, but decided to go high tech this time;)
Yes I am quite fortunate to have a boss whom allows me access to the shop equipment.
Of course he has quite the JMA collection going as well.

By the way,
The video doesn't do this machine justice.
It is lightning fast.
Kinda like watching Drag Racing on T.V., it's just not the same as being there.

This is a really cool video Kenny :)
Thanks so much for sharing it. I hope this is the first of many videos on the JMA site.

That machine seems insanely accurate!

Wes,
Glad ya like it;)
I'll see about doing others in the future.
The machine is very accurate, and has impeccable repeatability.
It can hold +-.0002 all day.
