Thanks Wes, I need a new camera that can do better close ups, and show truer colors. The stonewashed anoed pieces were an accident...LOL I started anodizing the lot, and didn't like the finish on the unmachined diameter. I stopped, and threw them all in the tumbler with the intent of etching off any color that remained on the few I had anodized. When I took them out they looked too cool, so I left them that way.
Kenn, I am happy to report that it has been on my keys now for the better part of a week and it is going strong! I love the matte gray finish with the subtle green annodizing down in the slot. The green ano captures the effect of the trit so there is a "glowiness" even in bright light. Of course, in the dark the thing is amazing. I'm also digging your logo on there.
Ben, Thanks for the report, and I'm glad it's seeing use. I know you had asked for a plain Ti finish, but I sent that one instead for the very reasons you noted. I figured you'd dig it.
And I am digging it! Immensely! As soon as I graduate and start earning income again, I'll be pinching pennies for another. I know just where it'll go...
WOW! Kenny those are really cool. What a great idea you came up with on those stonewashed/anoed pieces. You have MAD skills brother!
